Our clothing is made to last, our packaging isn’t.
The last thing we wanted to do was create more waste with our packaging. That’s why we only use vegan friendly packaging that is made from natural or waste materials and with the ability to be fully circular. No plastic here.
Mailer bags:
Our compostable mailers are made from a combination of PBAT, a bio based polymer which is compostable, and PLA which is made up of plant materials such as regular field corn and wheat straw. Our use of PLA makes up barely 0.05% of the annual global corn crop, making it an incredibly low-impact resource. We also hand stamp our boxes with our logo using non-toxic water based inks. Where possible we will use an eco-padded envelope or the smallest bag possible for your order so it fits through your letter box.
Parcel packing materials:
All of the items we send are safely wrapped and padded using recycled paper. You will not find any bubble wrap or polystyrene in our packaging. And, in an effort to avoid using any ink, the stickers used in our packaging are hand embossed before being used to seal your order! In fact, we try to use our handy embossing tool to replace wet ink pads as much as possible.
And even, the tape:
We seal all our packages with brown recycled paper tape, a 100% biodegradable, compostable packaging tape! Even the tape’s adhesive is natural and compostable.
